Historic homes are a dream all designers aspire to touch and this one did not disappoint. This 1900 home is situated on the hill of Queen Anne with amazing panoramic views of the city. The client was not loving the very 1980’s bathroom and kitchen remodel that the house had previously suffered.  We wanted to recapture the historic charm and take this pretty lady back to her basic bones.  We layered in shaker cabinets with a little pop of color to modernize the space. We kept to timeless finishes for architectural elements with the classic of white Calcutta marble, walnut and bespoke brass.  A hand-troweled venetian plaster hood surround is the perfect complement to this one of a kind custom Lacanche stove.
