Laura Libby has spent nearly two decades creating thoughtfully layered interiors for notable clients across the tech, corporate, education, and residential sectors. Before founding Edition 82, she led teams at globally recognized design firms on large-scale projects that helped shape Seattle’s skyline. Today, her work spans coast to coast, balancing the fast-paced energy of commercial design with the intimate, evolving nature of luxury residential interiors. She loves both—and believes the contrast keeps her instincts sharp, her perspective fresh, and her creativity a little unpredictable.

Known for quick wit, strong intuition, and an unapologetic love of contrast, Laura creates spaces rich in texture, layered in color, and anything but ordinary. Her signature approach combines unexpected materials, thoughtful details, and a healthy dose of personality to produce interiors that feel collected rather than merely decorated. The goal: spaces with a little wow, a lot of soul, and serious staying power.

Laura believes every space should tell a story—your story. Whether incorporating a treasured heirloom, pairing unlikely materials, or finding a home for that wonderfully hideous lamp you can’t part with, she embraces the quirks that make a space uniquely yours. Laura holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from Cornish College of the Arts.
